This car would be perfect if it was about 25k, didn't have all that extra electronic crap, and a manual transmission.

Nice car, IS350s are nice, but seriously for some reason, just don't think it's much of an upgrade. I mean they are two totally different cars, and your statement of let the modding began, LOL, please, good luck hitting 12s.

LS or LX? One is a CAR the other is a TRUCK! Something smells fishy here.

The new IS's are beautiful cars, esp. in white or black. Pricey, but great choice.

in that case i'm going to have to give a big

don't get me wrong, there's a lot to like about that car, but as a driver, i'd have to have dsg or manual.

At first I liked it. BUT the back seats seem even smaller than the EVO's. Then I found out no AWD for the 350 . I was thinking about one for my wife but the 250 doesn't have enough going for it for the cash.

4 DRs LEXUS are no fun..... unless you want those leather interior and the navi system. A very nice car to get if you only want to drive the family around.

True, I don't think they were designed to do anything even close to spirited. But surely, it didn't have to do it with the dinging!?!? I mean, you heaer the tyre squirming a bit and on top of that there's a sound like somebody is reversing. It's just disconcerting. And the brakes on those things are just pure ****.

Anyway, the new IS is very nice. Haven't driven it, but hopefully it's more fun than the GS300 (test drove recently); boring but very well put together and I'd say at least on par if not better than european car.

Any tuners for it in the States? I'm sure there will be plenty in Japan, but perhaps not so soon....
