Official RS4 pricing

The official pricing of the RS4 came down from Audi yesterday.

Base price is $66,000. A premium pack for $4700 includes navigation and just about every other option. With the $2100 gas guzzler tax, you're at about 73 grand with everything. About 5-7k less than I expected. People were hinting as much as 80k for this car.

I could never justify paying this much money for a boring Audi.

to each his own man. personally 414hp and quattro awd sounds about as boring as doing two chicks at the same time

i'd take one over an M5, XJR, XKR, E55, C55, CTS-V, the SRT-8 trio... what new car would you buy for $60 large?

Have any of you sat in a Z06. If you think the Evo feels cheep than that Z06 feels like trash. Its a very fast and great handling car though. Wouldnt buy one over a RS4. Hell no.

yeah, nobody will be cross-shopping an RS4 and a Z06. Two completely different cars. Both great, but in different ways.

It sounds like to me that you haven't either, the Z06 is nicer in every way except the seats. Even down to details like the buttons are way better than the evo's. The list goes on and on. Memory seats, auto dimming mirror, heads up display, navigation, stereo, cruise control, and nicer plastics. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but I disagree with yours.

I'd like to see a Z06 for $60k... my dad shopped around for one, and couldn't find one for below $78k anywhere in America.

they're like ANY other supercar ford GT or Ferrari F430... huge markup.

I'd kill to have an RS4 though. If I was looking in that price range I'd probably be one of the few to cross shop a Z06 and RS4.
