B17A = 2nd gen Integra GSR 1.7L DOHC vtec
B18C1 = Integra GSR 1.8L DOHC vtec
B18c2 = same as above but euro spec gsr
B18C5 = same as above but Type R. (different cams, throttle body, intake, etc...)
B18A/B = Integra LS non vtec 1.8L DOHC
B16A = Came in Civic SI (99-00) JDM Civic SIR and others (as old as 92 body)
B16B = JDM Civic Type R. (similar to B18C5 but 1.6L)
B20B = CRV 2.0L DOHC
B20Vtec/Frankenstein = CRV 2.0 bottom end with one of the vtec heads
LSvtec = B18A/B with one of the vtec heads
F22A = SOHC 2.2L Accord motor.
H22A = Vtec DOHC prelude motor 2.2L
H23A = Non Vtec DOHC prelude motor 2.3L
K20A3 = New gen RSX Type S engine 2.0 Ivtec
K20A1 and 2 = New gen JDM Type R engine 2.0L Ivtec I believe
K20Z3 = New gen Civic SI engine 2.0L Ivtec
K24A = New gen Accord, CRV, Element, TSX (different specs) 2.4L Ivtec
then you have moree of the F series that are more obscure engines, and the D series which are all single cam 1.5 or 1.6L civic engines. They're less important in the world of modifying and racing.

I'm sure they're are some minor mistakes here but I just got up and can't think.

Nice list. The crazy thing I have seen with Honda B series motors is that a LOT of the parts on the different engines are interchangeable....like an erector set.

I was a honda boy before the evo and yeah, a type r in a hatch is damn fast. I messed around with a del slow with a B18C1 in it (GS-R motor), i was in the evo and he hung alright...i won but it didn't do to bad. That is the plus with hondas, you can make all sorts of combinations.

Hey I was a honda guy before the evo and had a b16 in a 89 crx...Pulled consistant 14.2 and was mostly stock...the car was DAMN fast and felt like I was riding a oversized gokart but I do think you will have a hard tiime beating this guy especially if it is a true B18C5 and the guy knows how to drive.....go luck though

Thanks, I know the graphics are a bit over the top but it's meant to be a replica of the JDM Top Fuel Circuit Race car. I figured everyone does JDM OEM I'd do JDM race. http://www.topfuel.info/desktop/topfuel_desktop005.jpg
