Read it the other day very impressive and proves it's more than just the sum of it's parts.

Just wondering since i have no need to register, what does Ebay have to do with the car? All Ebay parts or something? Or is it for sale on Ebay?

Pssh 9's....its all about 8's

I dont understand why he would do an Ebay turbokit even if he was on budget...maybe just trying to prove a point. If he were to re-sell that thing, it would be really hard.

Yeah but typically supra owners want the best parts on their cars, not some cheap-o welded crap. Hell if I had a supra I would just go to boostlogic and get it done there, no ebay part would touch my car. But that was his choice not mine. To each their own.

his car, his $, his decision

to each his own

personally, i'd still never trust non-brand name parts for my car...but that may be just me

Everyone is different. I personally think it's great. You see it all the time "What's better a JUN 3'' turboback titanium exhaust for 2.8K or a Bob's muffler shop 3'' turboback exhaust for $500 bucks? Same goes for turbokits does it have to be AMS 35R kit for 4.6K or a pieced together kit that uses a 35R for 2.5K?

In the end it's all about airflow and if you have some fabbing skills and some knowhow you can pull stuff like this off.

Ex. Back in my mustang days a "older" gearhead from down the street had a 91 5.0 just like me. I had to buy the latest and greatest parts at the time Procharger superchargers with air/air intercooler, Edelbrock Performer series head and intake. He just ported and polished the stockers and pulled 2 turbos off of a 2.3l turbo Thunderbird motors fabbed up a manifold and 2.5'' exhaust and could destroy my car that had over 10K in it.

To each is own!
