FJ Cruiser?

I remember seeing this as a concept a while back, didn't hear anything about it and then when I was in Ohio last week I saw two rolling the streets! Just curious to see what anybody else thinks about them, especially you Jeep fans.

I'm not a jeep fan, but i like the FJ. I think the styling is great although I have not test driven one yet.

I saw one on the street the other day too. I like the look, haven't driven one yet but if we didn't buy my wifes grande cherokee we probably would have looked at an FJ cruiser. Looks like a good family hauler

Very unique.

Ive seen 2 on the road so far, a yellow one and a baby blue one and I like the retro look that toyota brought back. Motortrend did a review on it and place it higher than there current suv of the year, the nissan xterra. The interior is pretty damn cool too. To bad im not really an suv guy, I would pick one up for it's unique and toyota reliability factor.

I test drove one last week and was very impressed. Nice interior and excellent build quality. It also has great power and good acceleration for an SUV. If I had a $30k budget and needed an SUV this would be it without a doubt. Toyota's going to make a killing on these.

I'm with this guy^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ and as you all know by now I
work for Toyota It is one of those you either like it or hate it(looks wise) and I do not like it.Has rear suicide doors that open like an Airplane door, kind of fold down?
It has no carpet, not even an option, just rubberized floor mat material. It has some power,239hp I think, has 3 wipers for front windshield, about 6" tall each and the rear
wiper is even shorter.Has alot of "Blind spots",but would make a very nice off road vehicle, just wouldn't be too comfortable on a long drive.

i like it...a lot. the color you choosse makes a big differane on a car like this. i personally like the more neutral colored ones. in person they look a lot better, they're pretty damn big. plus with underpinnings from the prado/4runner...the aftermarket is already vast. they may look 'cute', but they are hardcore offroad w/ a solid ladder frame, coil springs, center and rear diff locks and the a-trac system, which is probably the most effective offroad traction control system to date. ppl have already figured out hacks for the system, so you don't have to buy the $2100 upgrade package just to get a-trac.

here's a guy with a OME 2.5" lift and 285/70 tires...looks hot.

Man those are cool looking. I've owned either a 4Runner or Land Cruiser at one time or another since I've had my license. It might be time to look at another Toyota.
