A friend of mine has recently told me about her boyfriends new Subaru. Which is supposedly a Two-Door STi. I know that of the 400 22b Subaru WRX STi's made, none were allowed to be sold here. She swears it to be an STi, I've yet to see it. What coupe impreza's did Subaru sell here? Anyone?

 

Its probably just a two door turbo wrx. The engine from the STI can be swapped in...probably just took the wing too. There is no such thing as a two door STI, unless someone took an sti and welded the back two doors shut.

 

only 2 door sti ever made was the 22b, other than that, shes and idiot or he's a liar

 

maybe it's those 2.5 RS's that were made around 98-01 or so and he put a bunch of sti parts from the j spec sti's or maybe he swapped in an sti motor. who knows.

 

def a 90's 2.5 rs with an jdm sti motor swap or something

 

That's not true. Version III to VI of the GC chassis had coupe versions.

haha prolly a 2.5 RS w/ sti parts

 

the old version 6 STI was only a two door. starting version 7 and up they all had 4 doors. the version 6 models were the best compared to all the other models. well that's my opinion anyways. it was the model right before the bug eyes model.

I've actually heard, and seen pictures of a real RHD 22B in the Orlando area. The pictures of it have been posted here, on this forum actually.

Yeah, 2.5 RS most likely. I bet he'll be putting in a 2.0 WRX motor. I don't think it'll be an STi engine. But that 22b was one badass car, 350bhp or something, right?
