STi Limited - 293HP

Check out this link guys, I wonder why its rated at 293HP now instead of 300.

from what i have hurd ALL STI are 293. 300 just was a round up number.

That was before the automotive industry (or part of it) started using the SAE rating. It is the new standard, so soon all manufactors will be using the rating.

The old rating system did not require certain accessories to be powered (notably power steering pumps), nor did it require the real exhaust system to be intact. The changes resulted in a lot of smaller motors losing a few hp off the rating; the bigger motors were not affected.

A.P.S. Dynoed an 05' Sti to the "Flywheel" and made 311hp bone stock.
