Well, not at all surprising I guess since the RSX has had alot of competition in the sub-25k sports coupe/sedan market. The Civic Si I think may also be a contributing factor given that you get more bang for the buck compared to the RSX. One thing that really disappoints me is that this would mean there's gonna be zero chance the Integra Type R will be coming back to the US. Hmm, but then again maybe Honda will bring in or make a USDM Civic Type R.

exactly what i was thinking also. its also good in the aftermarket business because they dont have to make performance parts for the 1.6 and the 1.8. i guess the same thing happened when the tC came out toyota decided to drop the celica.

The biggest mistake Acura ever did, was getting rid of the Integra name, and replacing it with RSX. The executives at Acura are smoking something.

Eh, old news.

Acura needed to do this for awhile. The rsx and rsx-s just doesn't fit there image any more. Plus, it was bound to happen when the cheaper 8thgen civic SI came out. Somebody had to go, and it sure wasn't the brand new SI.

IMO thou, RSX-s > Civic Si

Good riddance, just kiddin'. In my opinion I do not think the RSX or a entry level sporty coupe for Acura is out for good in Acura's lineup. The RSX may be gone for now but a replacement will arrive in the future. I believe it will be even better, it just makes sense especially with gas prices as high as they are now, a gas saving sport compact will sell.
