You can pretty much eliminate it during normal circumstances with the "UK Alignment" specs (More caster, substantially more negative camber front and rear, and no toe). The car will follow crown a bit worse, but it's a reasonable tradeoff.

FYI, my comments in the trailing part of that thread were tire related. The alignment is solid if you have good tires (OEM S02s or something comparable).

Thank for all the input guys! I'll try to test drive an AP1 or 2 to get a better feel for the car. Everytime I see the engine bay of the S2000, my hands get itchy IYKWIM

I have three choices, keep the 03, sell/trade-in the 03 for another evo (IX or X), sell/trade-in the 03 for another car. I'm looking at the s2k because I'll probably get a truck (for towing and race kart transport) or suv in the near future so the issue of practicallity is nullified. I'm planning on test driving one just to see what the differences are but my choices in line with option three is either the S2k or the STI.
hey sorry didnt get back to u sooner.

yea most ppl complain about the lack of torque and the impracticality of the car (no trunk space, not enough room in the driver/passenger seat etc.

i personally find the s2k to be less bumpy than my evo. however as aforementioned, once u reach a higher speed, the s2k becomes a lot noisier.

if i were u i'd figure out a way to keep the Evo and get an s2k. if not get an Evo IX, it is quite different from the 03's from what i've read on this forum.

the ap1 oversteer is not as bad as ppl are making it to be. just take the car to a track, familiarize urself with the car, and turn every corner carefully with full attention, and the car will be good to u for some ppl, overcoming this difficulty (i.e. controlling the s2k, or even mastering it) is much more rewarding than driving a turbo awd saloon and tearing the track up all day.

like westsidebilly said, maybe u could give that rental place a shot. see how u like the car as a DD, and push it a lil to see how u like the handling. westsidebilly is also a moderator on the s2k forums btw, so he knows what he's talking about

any more Q's just ask. good luck

Sad to say, I actually liked the driveability of the S2000 and the overall way it felt when I drove it.......

But the EVO is a 4 door sedan and that combined with it's overall performance won me over...
