Exclamation Exactly how much?

i'm 14 now and I'm Planning on getting my Evo in the summer of 04' and i was wondering, to all you evo owners out there, exactly how much tax do i need to pay? i heard some dramatized remarks from people who dont want me to get the car (prolly cause' it's better than theirs), like around 5000/year, is that accurate?

Do you mean insurance?

if that's what you meant ... then you'll be lucky if you can get insured ... you'll probably have to the most ridiculous premiums anyone of us has ever heard of... wouldn't be suprised if 5000 was your twice a year payment. It'll be good for when the insurance company has to fix the car all the time.

Secondly ... if you're going to be getting this as your first car at 16, people are probalby telling you not to get this car because you'll kill yourself most likely.

I'm almost 19 now, been driving for 3 years straight... with a semi-fast car, and I wouldn't trust myself behind the wheel of the evo to be honest. I've never tried anything like it, and there's so much power there that it can be dangerous.

hahahhahaha! for you? it is going to be higher than that?! i pay around 4k a yr. and i drive a lancer w/ no tickets or accidents. Good luck with an EVO

EDIT: i pay less now, but that is with a clean record for 5 yrs. and with the good grades discount given by my insurance company.
