Getting an Audi RS4 in the sates?

My father is in the market for an AWD monster....and no he doesnt want two evos (or an STI) in the family. Id really love to set him up with an RS4 because he wants something with power and the looks to go along. Your opinions are more than welcome.

Im wondering if anyone has been able to get the RS4 into the states.

Thanks!

I have seena few of them rolling around here in LA. 1 I know had dealer plates, but I don't think the others did. They don't sound all that mean, but keep in mind that there will be a supercharger option for the S4 soon that will crank out around 450 hp. It will be a RS4 beater for a lot less money. It will be released by APR BTW.

car looks crazy HP is like 450 or something. If he wants an AWD monster get an imported R34 skyline.

If possible I would definatelt try to convince him to wait for the next skyline. For anybody who loves bad a$$ AWD machines it's got to be at the top of the list.

nice choice, I love the M3 but it is getting a little played out for me, you seen everyone in chicago in them for some reason now. I would take either the RS4 or the new S4 anyday. Isn't the new 2007 RS4 model going to be sold in the U.S. with 420hp. I though I read that on edmunds the other day.
good luck

well Its my youngers brothers car he turned 22 two weeks ago... he never ever had a car but he can drive.. he loved audis and he knew they were coming to the states with the rs4 he saved up money like crazy put a downpayment on it and was the first one on the road with the RS4 he turns heads left and right the car is insane .... the car wont let you go past 5000 rpm the first 500 miles then wont let u go past 7000 till 1500 miles and then the engine is broken in and have fun with the 4.2 v8 up to 8250 rpm the sound is awesome especially with the S button turned on the interior i cant even start on how great it is compared to the evo or any other car out there... the 8 piston brakes are insane the 19's stock are sick the wide body fenders are incredible and the car will probably just chill at 180 + for 24 hours without hurting the motor lolll over all i would trade my 600 whp evo in an instant for that RS4 .... i drove the RS4 and its just sooo smooth so perfect the car is definetelly great...

I know Audi makes a good product and agree it is a great ride. Those 8 piston brakes are crazy.

Sap12687- The RS4 is definitely a great choice 420hp/317tq and can be had w/ out the premium package for 66k or add another 4,700 with it. We are planning on getting one in a few weeks, just trying to justify the cost myself I wouldn't mess with an S4 and add a supercharger by the way. Keep us posted.
