it's a hate em or love em deal. i originally had gram lights 57s's ordered but ran into some trouble getting them.

i like these due to their aggressive sizing 17x9 +15 on all 4 corners. flush like a toilet

SICK!!!!!!!

if u do pull the trigger and get the Evo....biggest difference will be rwd vs. awd...whichever u prefer i guess...

i miss my mr2 turbo a lot due to its rwd....the Evo's just too insane and easy to go fast around a bend

i used to own a gvr4 too, not exactly an EVO but that awd was killer for the winter.

i'm going to go test drive an STi and an EVO at the dealership's tomorrow, see if one feels more appealing to me

NICE!! I'm in the process of buying a 89 240 and modding that. I would like a RWD car because drifting looks fun. I don't wanna get flamed that I wanna drift because of the movie because that movie added gasoline to the flame. It just look fun to me and besides, it's not as expensive as an Evo. Just tires and brake accesories....

sorry, but once you actually start going to events you'll find out that drifting isn't as cheap as it seems. i built my other 240 for drift only and i only took it to one open lapping day. now i want out of drifting. (i just finished turbocharging that one too lol). I weighed it out and it's going to be easier for me to sell both 240s and get a new car than keep both of them and keep trying to drift.

some of the guys i know are really hardcore with it and the amount of money the put into it is insane. one guy burnt up a twin plate and is on his 3rd transmission this season. not that drifting has to be expensive, it just usually is due to all the **** you inadvertantly break

Yeah that's true, I guess I'm just a little too paranoid about the whole tranny/clutch/t-case going out. But I guess its the way you drive it. I wasn't really planning to go as hardcore as some of the guys you are mentioning are but I love to be able to drive a RWD car like I stole it y'know? I drive trucks and suv's but that just ain't the same. I feel like I'm gonna flip over. Thanks for the insight though.

at 16psi on a Mustang dyno it put down 273whp, 269wtq. the wg has a 14lb spring and we were having trouble holding boost over 16psi. i never really looked for the problem because i started working on the other 240 a lot instead, it's probably a really simple problem that i'm overlooking.
