"So i was drivin home from vacation in York Beach ME and was drivin on 95 in New Hampshire and a trash barrel fell off a truck and i swerved to avoid it while doin like 65 and i rolled my car 6 times in the median and somehow managed to walk away with only some road rash and my face lookin like the guy from the Goonies Movie "

Not sure why this is in evo general...but VW are tanks...i used to frequent vortex back when i had my Jetta and there were several threads of guys in terrible wrecks walking away with minor injuries...pretty impressive

 

you can buff that out.




on a serious note glad to hear he's okay, says alot for how well VW's are built.

 

volkswagens are amazing when it comes to safety. Yours looks like chopmeat now but Im Glad to hear youre ok. I have a silver vr6 jetta as well as my evo and i love it.

Its my buddies dub not mine...i use to have a vr6 but sold it for the evo! But yeah vw safety is amazing.

Wow, glad he is ok. Did the truck driver stop to help him? Or did anyone help him?

 

yeah i guess the truck driver kept driving but a bunch of people pulled over and pulled him out of the car.

 

I'm surprised he flipped while swerving at 65 mph. I own that same model jetta and its one of the best handling cars I've ever driven.
