Evo V-VI's don't impress me anymore. And Evo IV's are everywhere.

In Canada, any car that is 15 years old is legal.

The "grey" evo 3 in cali is owned by a guy named Brian i met him at MOD 06 he owns a shop called DriftSpeed he is currently trying to sell the evo 3 for $20,000. the car is fully street legal and passes California SMOG tests. his EVO3 is THE ONLY one in California. and there is only 2 evo III replicas (mirage conversions) in cali one of those replicas happen to be mine and the other is a friend of mine Marc (owner of NorthStarCreation)

a perfect example is this car. You will see it as a normal Evo 6 TME but it was actually a 1997 Lancer GL a/t. the shop brought in a knocked down or "chop-chop" Evo 6 TME from Japan together with all the parts, its suspensions, even decals! Nothing was spared! It was seam welded and double reinforced. They had to change the back area of the car to accomodate the differential. since Evos here still got high resale value, some car enthusiasts had found this a cheaper way of getting an Evo! Not even the engine was spared, nor even the dash! the only thing spared is the chassis number.
