what a waste of time. that fool should've dragged it in the video...not just a few second WOT pulls. gay. that thing is pointless unless it's on the drag strip. i'd take my evo with 500hp over that 1000+hp camaro =P

 

when i saw that thing i was like "dooooooooooooood a car with 1000HP can smoke the back tires????? cool." im with thisxguy id take an evo with 500 awhp compared to that.

plus my geo metro can get out if its own way. i have the pimped out one with the 3-cyl engine.

 

ok? an evo vs a camaro is apples and oranges

there both good in there own way , there both the same thing , and some are going to prefer the orange over the apple and vice versa.....

but to say that machine is a waste of time and that its gay ........... well thats just funny..... i hope your evo is faster than the AMS evo cause then it would stand a chance against that camaro at the strip...

but since the AMS evo as of now is the fastest....... then im sure you shouldnt be talking crap like that....... just because it isnt your cup of tea doesnt meen you have to talk trash about it if you dont like it keep it to yourself. if you have nothing good to say then just dont say anything at all...

that car right there was somebodys dream! it took money , time , and blood to build that awsome car just like the AMS evo and im sure you wouldnt bad mouth that car because if youd rather take a 500hp evo over that camaro then im sure youd rather take 920+ whp evo over that camaro right?

and i dont know if youve seen the AMS evo latelly its been having some traction problem at the strip.... so emagine on the street...

Awd has grate traction! but only up to a certain power point.... remember they cant sit there and toast the tires to warm them up like a rwd car can.... they can only spin em a bit and thats all....
wich usually wont do much more than get all the crap off them..... it will warm them but not the same as if you sat there and really heated them up....

same goes for a rwd car not being able to rally like an awd car..... so i meen every car has its intended purpose weather that be racing , getting good gas millege , being reliable and affordable , to even just looking good.....

but to call a certain car gay and pointless is just stupid... it just shows how ignorant you are.... and that your a poser car enthusiast

lol ive actually seen a 3 cyl turbo geo metro do a 10.9xx! i was like wtf ???? that thing was bad a*s ...... doesnt get much more sleeper than a 10 sec geo metro. youd be so rich from taking it to the street races! everyone would set you out so much space lol (till everyone and there grandmas catches on and you never get another race that is...) plus on the street im sure it could only do like an 11.5xx maybe....... stupid fwd atleast it worked at the track

ok all things and camaros aside you saw a 3 cyl metro run a 10.9??? that is cool as hell. this is my thread so we can hijack and talk of metros as much as we want. i have the 26" blades on it now but i ordered these ones here. even with the fender rolled i wont have room for tires so ill probably just get some big rubber bands and stretch those over the blades for rubber.

 

I think the car is amazing. Differant strokes for differant folks. The car is obviously built for the strip. And yeah it would be very pointless anywhere but that. Gotta give respect where it is due though.

 

Lol, what a stupid thread. Wow, i saw this vid on the net and the car in it is dumb. I could also say that about half the Evo videos I see on the net, especially streetfire. Like people said before, I'd like to see you get even close to the amount of power to be able to smoke your tires like that, let alone huge drag tires. And to the guys saying "I'd rather have a 500hp Evo", thats wonderful. Still wouldnt even come close to that car. I'd rather have a 500hp 03 cobra with coilovers and some weight reduction, which could whip an Evo on the strip or a road course.

At least I wasted a few minutes typing while I'm waiting to go home from work.
