I disagree -- I'm glad to see BMW is at least attempting to branch out in design.

I used to hate the fact that a 5-series was just a bigger 3-series and a 7-series was just a bigger 5-series, etc. (looks-wise)

BMW makes great cars, but I've always (until recently) thought they have been boring.

I wish they'd bring back the 8-series coupes.

No, Not ugly..........http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26758

Next year they will also make awd as an option.

This is one great engine that will make a nice cross section in the bmw line up.

Z4 anyone????

Now this is total hotness!!!!!! http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26598 . Perfect color, perfect wheels,,, CSL. Now with the 3.0 tt inline 6 in this thing,,, alot cheaper than the real z4M.

Back to the 335i,, the only down side really is no limited slip diff. But i guess when you leave bmw's traction control on,it isnt too bad. There is another thread showing it light up "one" tire going throw some fast corners,,, not pretty.

Also before we jump to conclusions, we need more dynos than just one, while I'm sure it is under rated in power, by how much, cannot be determined going off of just one dyno. I think between 260-275WHP will be the norm for these cars.

You never know. Manufacturers have been known to give the press a "hot' version of the car to test. This thing could have been a little more aggressively tuned than a standard production car.

If it isn't it definitely poses the question: What can you get out of it with a little aftermarket love?

I think they will be pretty bad *** with a little work. I've been considering getting one when they come out. I like the 330 but, it doesn't have enough *****.

Yeah that 335 is pretty bad. I'm sure it will do better than a 13.6 on the strip providing the power it's putting down and if you throw in a skilled driver. I can't believe an Evo owner stated this car was ugly .

Chevrolet Cobalt SS
Lexus IS350
Dodge Neon SRT-4
and etc.

So this doesn't surprise me one bit
out of curiousity how underrated are eclipses? I hadn't heard of that before. Also I thought the madzaspeed6 guys were having problems getting full power out of their engines.

The 4G Eclipse GTs have been putting down anywhere from 235-245WHP on the average.

Yes the Mazdaspeed 6 has suffered from some power loss issues, but the power loss issue comes and goes, and usually doesn't last for more than a couple of minutes. So usually a Mazdaspeed 6 is running healthy, with no issues. The biggest problem I saw with the power loss, was that it was unpredictable of when it would come and when it would go away.

Better than 13.6, sorry but that seems about right to me. Sure the cars may put down 270WHP, but they weigh nearly 3,600Lbs and are not set up for drag racing. 13.6 is rather impressive to me.
