Those primates on LS1 can't comprehend that perhaps the internals of the engine are more restrictive than anything on the outside of the engine, especially when the exhaust valves are closed.

Ignore anything that Wesman, Heatmaker, or 98BanditWS6 says over there. They are all import haters and at least the first two have been banned at times for trash talking. Im in the Street Racing forum over there all the time and they do nothing but stir things up.

That's actually true from what I understand...although the heads/cams/valves probably have the most to do with it...

you should have seen how hard I pulled on a WS6 with those mods when I only dynoed at 333whp...from a roll. You would eat him alive

I challenged him in the thread to come race me and that Id even pay for his gas money to come down. The only thing he said in reply to it numerous times was he isnt coming because I wouldnt show lol.

 

I had a friendly race with a guy in a new mustang gt about a month ago. No competition. But it made me think, "why can't more people be like this guy?"

I was on my way home from NH on I95 when i slowly came up on a dark blue mustang with silver race stripes. Now I'm a man of all machines. Domestic, Import, whatever, if it looks good and is done right I like it. So I get next to him look over give him a nod and a and mouth "nice" to him. He nods back and waves. We drive side by side together for a while and get to a low flat area(by exit 56 for those of you familiar with the area). He bucks ahead a little and points ahead. I brought my hand down get ready to shift, honk 3 times and off we went. I took him by about 6 or 7 car lengths when I let off. He came back up next to me, gave me a a nod, a "nice" and drove off. I waved and that was it. Whys everyone gotta be so hostile and talk so much ****? Just race and have fun.

 

I think this sums up the thoughts of a lot of the "domestic is best" crowd.
You could be better at everything than them, faster 1/4 mile, faster around a track, better at doing burnouts, etc. and they wouldn't give a crap because you drive an import. I've had a friend tell me that the simple fact a car is an import makes it rice, even cars like evos, wrxs, STis, supras, skylines, 240sx', etc. are rice cars even though some may be capable of 1000+hp engines and sub 10 second quarter miles. Frankly there is no point in trying to change their opinion, once a dumbass redneck always a dumbass redneck.

 

Of course he isn't going to show. He probably doesn't even own the car he claims to own. And if he does, it's probably a slow piece of sh*t.

Aside, who gives a sh*t what anybody on www.ls1fanboy.com had to say?
