out w/g35 in w/335i

I just did it, we traded in my wifes 05 g35 sedan for a 07 335i tt coupe. I will be getting that in about 6-8 weeks. we built it with the options we wanted. when we test drove it and I was in the back seat, all I have to say is wow. it pulls very strong. I can't wait till the aftermarket tuners get a hold of it and start building parts for this car. this will definitely give my evo a run for the money. will keep updated when I get it. did anybody out there get one. give your input if you either bought one or test drove one.

Congrats, great trade... well worth it. I can see it now, the new 335i TT is gonna go the ways of the Supra, single turbo, up the boost... WHOA! That car is gonna be a beast.

A very good site. Congrats on your purchase. I have been eyeing this car for a while.

Only thing that it lacks is a limited slip diff. But they are coming out with an 335ix next yr in the coupe. They also say it should be rated at 350hp and tq.

I looked at one the other day and was expecting more, and the price tag of $47k, well there are alot of cars in that beefy range. Maybe after I drove it. I do think the E90 4 door is going to be the one to have.

But way to go, what color did you get?

Congrats! I actually drove a 335 coupe for a test run. We tried out a 325 and the salesman said, you all she try out this one. After he said it the second time, I could not resist. All I can say is that thing has power. I did not notice any trubo lag and I resisted the temptation to "beat it" (wife in the car too!). Instant pull any time, any gear. We ended up with an IS 350, but that 335 was nice. Enjoy!

Savagevo,

Great choice.. that is a heck of a car. I call the local dealer in Tucson so I could go and take pics of the car but they did not have any. I have been following up all the technical aspects of the car.

The car has two pair of IHI turbos pushing only 9psi and the max torque range starts at 1400rpm. I am with you, I can't wait to see what tuner comes with what for that car. They suppose to offer a AWD model later on in the future.

Please send us pics whenever you get it.

Carlos

yeah that new 335i is really nice, had a chance to drive one on the track and it was impressive...feels stronger than they claim.

Turbo's will be the first to go b/c they are the size of marbles...but all in all great car
