AWD Dodge Caliper SRT4
Chrysler and Mitsu are like cousins, they share things all the damn time. Either way the Caliber is one ugly looking car. It's up there with the Subaru Baja, Honda Element, Toyota whatever the hell it's called, and a few butt ugly cars.

When the GF and I were looking at cars and we test drove the FWD unit, the salesman said that the SRT version will have all wheel drive version. With 300 hp the torque steer will be brutal, I think that's why they will be awd.
I have been wrong before.

i know they have a fwd version and an awd version, b/c i work right next door to a dodge dealership, but i am not sure on the srt4 deal.
PPl always talked about how ugly the evo and sti are and how ugly the evos interior are, BUT this thing really make our cars look like exotics, and makes the evos interior feel like a lexus.

We test drove a SRT PT Cruiser and the torque steer was pretty bad. I am a Dodge boy but she liked the New Civic and that's what I bought her.
Hey I need a truck to haul the enclosed trailer with the Evo in it.

THis from an online news source (notice the update):
"Dodge released photos of its new Caliber SRT-4 it plans to unveil later this morning in Chicago. No wimpmongers, them, they've created a 300hp monster that completely obliterates memory of the Neon family it replaces, even in its own SRT trim. How'd they do it? Nope, not a Hemi. All that juice -- including sub-six-second zero-to-60 tiimes -- comes from a turbocharged and otherwise tricked-out version of the company's 2.4-liter four-banging world engine. Oh, did we mention it's four-wheel-drive. Yep. Did someone say LS6 Cobalt? [Update: Sorry kids, 4WD was just a rumor. It's front-wheel.]"

It's been a well known fact that the Caliber SRT4 is FWD. Just because you lack the skills or intelligents to do research doesn't mean other don't. So look, im here to prove you wrong.
Straight from the horses mouth (dodge website)... 300hp/260trq, 6spd, FWD

Are you living underground?
Have you read nothing in the automotive press like Car & Driver, Motor Trend, Automobile, Sport Compact Car, etc?
There is a version of the Caliber that is AWD. However, the SRT-4 (the only turbo 2.4 version) is available as FWD only, just like the SRT-4 Neon was.
Stop circling the wagons over something that isn't true. Its substantially heavier than the last SRT-4, STILL wrong wheel drive, and has the aerodynamics of a Borg Cube. Caliber SRT-4 for the lose!!!11 It looks like a Dodge Durango, Pontiac Vibe, and a Chevy Malibu Maxx wagon had a three way collision at an intersection.
If you want to buy an economical and cool boosted FWD that will handle better than the Caliber and look a ton better at the same time, wait and check out the upcoming Mazdaspeed3!
