you keeping the diesel? or going with a 8v or 16v?

I'm keeping it for now. can barely get it up to 65 on the freeway (n/a 1.6l), but it gets me 40mpg

 

i know a guy with one of these that we are probably going to swap motors in this winter. we are going to put in a Dual Carb'd 8 Valve that has been completely rebuilt and ready for nitrous.

been runnin short on cash. had to cover rent for my brother and am trying to sell off some stuff to raise the money. It's been sittin for 3 weeks now

I plan on having it finished by Thanksgiving weekend tho.

well, had it all planned out that I was going to spend a ton of time working on this thing, but my buddy took off to Idaho, has the shop closed, and took my padlock off the chain, so I can't even get in starting to bug me, the last couple weeks my non-progress has been on account of him flaking out mostly

none, other than my buddy being laid off from the shop cause it's so slow right now. we've got till end of january to get the engine bay painted, get it driving and find somewhere else to do the body work

and he just found out he has a kid on the way, heavy hit (all happened 2 weeks before christmas)

 

Was it an "oops I didnt mean to" kid or a "let's get pregnant kid" (planned or unplanned).
