I would, but the 1.6L diesel lacks the oil-jets under the pistons, thus limiting me to about 3psi. If I had a 1.9L or a european 1.6, then it would have the oil-jets and turbo would be an option. But don't worry, one of my long-term goals is to have a TDI in it

since I had a short day at work I've been spending the last 2 hours cleaning various pulleys, shields, mounts, etc, and getting them primed

sweet! I posted up on the VWVortex that whoever wants the canopy that came with the truck just has to come get it, and the guy from Spokane that wants it has the tools to get the timing set correctly and will help me with it when he comes to pick up the canopy yay me

timing has been set I predict 2 weeks till it's running. Longer till I start driving it, need some interior pieces, like seats

Looks like its coming along great tyler! I think the black interior will look just fine, and keep with the retro paint, why change the classic color?

mmkay, got all my motor mounts here now, and won an auction on ebay for a new gauge cluster, w/tach and digital clock, and only off by 40k If I have some spare time tomorrow I might get the new motor mounts on. Oh yeah, found out we timed the engine wrong but that's ok cause I have to undo the whole thing to replace one of the motor mounts
