Looks like a great deal at 40K. Or atleast an attractive alternative to the Skyline for Nissan fans.

our evo's already have a 0-60 acceleration in around 4.8 sec right? and the 350z gt-s will need 382 hp to do it

The difference will be the acceleration beyond 60MPH. The reason the 350Z GT-S seems "slow" at 4.8 sec is most likely a traction limitation. At highway speeds, I would almost be certain that it would walk an Evo.
