About the Acura Integra
I'm thinking about get an Acura Integra as a second car (more like a project car), I like it for a few reasons but I would like to know more about it. Such as is the LS the base model then it goes gs then Type r or something like that Anyway any info would help.
Check the specs on edmunds.com
Also check out honda-tech.com forums, you can probably find absolutely everything about those car over there, how to disassemble it, assemble it back, which mods you can do, which blocks work with which heads, find cheap parts, even whole cars with swapped engines so you don't have to spend extra $ etc etc.

It's GS, LS, and GSR. The GS and LS comes with a Dohc Non vtec B18B1 with 140 Hp and 128 lbs-tq and the GSR comes with a B18C1 with 170 hp and 130 lbs-tq. And the Type R comes with a B18C5 with 195 HP and 130 Ilbs-tq.
Actually it's the RS (for older models), LS, GS, then GS-R.
All 3 come with power windows, door locks, remote entry, etc. The LS has cloth seats with the B18B1, GS is the same as LS with leather seats, and the GS-R comes with the famous B18C1 DOHC VTEC motor. The B18C5 comes from the Type R.
Many people swap out the non-VTEC B series motors for either the B18C series or H22 motors from Preludes. Personally I would swap in a K20A motor with some motor mounts from Hasport.
You could also do what is called a Frankenstein motor or a LS VTEC mod.

^^^ For real... The "Teggie" has been the top "Most Stolen" vehicle for many years running. Think the Navigator beat it out this year though... But it has got to be the most mod-friendly car on the road. Type honda forums in Google and you'll get all the info you'll ever need.
BTW, my brother drives a Honda red LS, Silver CF hood, Edelbrock IM, sri, and Apexi exhaust... Real nice ride !

There are many models to the Integra. RS,LS,GS, LS SE, GS-R, Type R. There are also 4 generations of the Integra. 1986-1989= 1st gen. 1990-1993= 2nd gen. 1994-2001= 3rd gen. and 2002-2006= 4th gen. (known as the RSX in the U.S.). I would suggest a g3 Integra because they're nicer, reasonably priced, and faster than the others. Also, don't get an automatic. Lots of people that do egret it when they realize that it's not as fun or fast as the manual versions. There are also 2 different body styles for the g3. 1994-1997 and 1998-2001. Good luck, and check out www.team-integra.net for more helpful information about the Integras.
