man... wont make JCCS> F***. Too much to finish, to litttle time. I have got this far, dont want to rush it and make it all f'ed up. Everyhting that could go wrong DID at the shop. For some reason the injecotrs and coil packs are dead...so Im gonna have to rip out all the wiring and were gonna start fresh. I took it back form the shop to finish the body/interior and take it back to finish starting the motor. Ill get daylight pics tomor or this weekend but until then camera ftl.

Wow you guys can be pretty rude and impatient.

I'm impressed that his project has come this far in this short a period. He's doing it for himself and not to entertain you guys with photos of the build-up.

My Malibu took almost 5 years to build, once I got past construction, the car sat for almost a year before it got painted and fully assembled.

Lambo, the car is coming along amazing, almost exactly along the lines of how I would build a similar car. Its an impressive job. More so due to your age and the attention to detail and quality says alot for your skills, whether you did the work yourself or contracted some of it, its still your vision.

Stinks u wont make it to JCCS, but you right better take the time to make things perfect then rush and mess up on sumthin. Hope you get that wiring sorted out and for things to come along cleanly.

I also agree with Malibu. I would take your time and do this right. Your 510 is really looking awesome.

What's the story on the 02?

We're in the middle of an SR20 Corolla swap right now and I've been thinking about the swap into an 02, did your brother go the same route you did?

JCCS was b****in!!!! sorry to say your car wasn't there it would probably have taken the trophy over all the 510's showing.

there was a 2002 in the parking lot too not as clean as your bro's but you can see that the car was driven for what its worth =]

BMW purists would turn in their graves over an sr20det in an 02. I thought about one in an E-30 M3.

No point in putting a lot of money into the M10.

There's an E30 M3 with an SR20 from Idaho, it runs 11's.

car is looking sweet, definitly my dream setup.

Good choice on swappin out the wheels, not feeling those volks. I think a fat five or six spoke would do the trick. What about gold te37s.
