Cobalt SS?
And that is why I didn't go with the cobalt. I wanted power and numbers and performance. When I get a bit older, I may settle for a car like the cobalt with ok numbers and a sport feel. Like I said, nothing wrong with it.
Fairly decent... but I test drove one, and it has a reallll floaty rear end and doesn't handle well. I also kept sliding off the seat and hitting the door when I cornered hard. I really wouldn't buy one.

I just dropped a deuce, looked down, and said, "Hey, cool! It looks like a Cobalt SS!"
Cobalt SS FTL. At first I thought the car looked kinda cool, so I was at the auto show last year and decided to sit myself in one. The moment I got in, I got out. It was horribly cheap, and IMO wasn't much better than a Cavalier. It just wreaked of cheapness.

Friend of mine has a Saturn Ion Redline, the same thing as the Cobalt SS. I drove his car and I am happier with my NA Lancer OZ. My car will be much faster than his car when I throw a turbo on there.

Cobalt is the best bang for the buck compact car.
Car and Driver tested the Cobalt SS, Civic Si, VW GTi and MX-5 --- the Cobalt killed them all around the track -- it beat the GTi and Civic Si by 4-5 seconds!

The Cobalt is the new SRT-4 except better looking(2-door coupe).

the Cobalt SS had the strongest and most reliable binders......The Cobalt was also the most settled of the three, with excellent body control through the high-speed esses. The GTI felt soft, but its body motions remained fairly stable. The Civic was the floppiest.
The Cobalt SS’s supercharged Ecotec engine collaborated with an excellent gearbox to charge down the straights with authority. The result was a maximum speed of 117.1 mph and a lap time of 3:20.6 — four to five seconds quicker than the other front-drivers, the GTI and the Civic.
