Hey everybody!
In a few months i will be looking to purchase a new car. I would love to own an evo but with my driving record my insurance would be through the roof. So what cars would you guys recomend? So a little bit about myself...First off im 20 years old and a full time college student... I wouldn't want to pay over $25,000 for the car. And the car doesnt need to be "fast" but i would like something quick, somewhere about 6 sec and under for the 0-60. I've been looking at the Chevy Cobalt SS supercharged and the SRT-4 and possibly a wrx impreza. However, I am a fairly big guy 6'4 around 200lbs so im not even sure if i would fit in any of those cars comfortably. But i do want a manual transmission and like i said would like some power and the car would probably be modded eventually. So what do you guys think?

 

hmmmmm try looking at the new mazda3 speed..i would definitly think about getting one if i had 25g's. even though your big im pretty sure you'd fit into one cuz the front seats look big in that car

 

yeah i was pretty impressed by the numbers those cars put down but i have never been a hatchback fan... do they make a coupe version?

Do they still have brand new SRT-4s left? I thought the car was discontinued in '05?

For the price, I'd take a hard look at the WRX. AWD > FWD, and it's a pretty fast car. Faster than most cars in that price range I think.

 

Early 2000s Audi A4s or S4s.

hold off and get the turbo awd lancer coming out next year

definitely wrx or a ralliart with lots of mods, or mazda speed3. with a 25k budget you can pick up something nice
