Thanks for your input!

Also I wanted comment directly on your first post. Since when was Mazda considered one of the best companies when it comes to reliability. Not dissing the MS6, but it has already had a re-call, and the MS3 will not be too far behind (due to faulty engine motor mounts). I am not calling Mazda a bad company, but they are in no means Honda or Toyota, which aren't even perfect either.

Aftermarket You call a CIA and Cat-Back Exhaust an aftermarket. Oh are you seeing the dyno numbers and going ohhh, ahhhh, dyno numbers are great, you can use the slips to throw out the window and scare people. Just ask the MS6 owner who tried to scare me with his 280whp+/310wtq+ dyno sheet, unfortunately for him I don't scare easily, and put a buslength and half on him in a gear and a half . Oh are you talking about the ATP Turbo Setup, making 330whp with supporting mods, damn that is might impressive there, especially from such a loved and respected company like ATP .

Like I said, know what you want out of car and buy it because it fills up these needs, if your buying a MS6 and already comparing it to a EVO, your already heading in the wrong direction, and if you are buying it for its massive aftermarket potential, then you are further heading in the wrong direction. Maybe a Legacy GT would be a better option for you.

the website says the engine has direct gas injection, fuel injected straight into the cylinder. Is this like the audi's DIS ?

I have an evo and a Legacy GT. I love them both for different reasons. I hear things about safety (legacy wins hands down), modifications (exponentially more aftermarket support for the LGT over the MS6) check Gruppe-S, RalliTek, JSC Speed, etc. TONS of stuff for the LGT and zippy for the MS6. Equivalent or nicer amenities on the LGT and a whole lot of JDM swaps available besides the typical STI stuff. Liberal, SYMS, Chargespeed and everyone else makes body kits that you can source from Japan parts. The LGT is as much of a sleeper as the MS6 and I get less attention in it modded than you will in a stock evo. Trust me.

I think they are great looking cars, with awd regardless of the split, the traction is there when you need it. I would buy it black on black, slam it and throw on some 19's with a lip. If you can find it for mid to low 20's by all means by one.

^ wow.. very mature post

The Mazdaspeed 6 is nice car, I wouldn't mind one at all as a daily driver. It's a nice, comfortable, good looking sedan. It's not a performance vehicle, as stated by Mazda, so dont compare it to an Evo.

Even though I wouldn't buy anything from ATP, they do have turbo kits for the Speed 6 already, 3071R and 3076R's, so there is some aftermarket support.

Basically, I wouldn't mind having one, but I wouldn't trade the Evo for it.
