McLaren F1 = driver seat in the middle. Much more expensive.

McLaren SLR is a Mercedez and McLaren project. It's basically a Benz super to battle against the Enzo and Carrera GT. The McLaren F1 is a project car between BMW and McLaren using a BMW V12. It's a three seater race car. Unless you're talking the McLaren F1 car that is piloted by Kimi last or Alonzo in this year.

I love my Evo but the SLR is nice.

But what's the point of this thread? Everyone here loves to own a super car.

someones got one in orlando, saw it parked out in front of a club one night pretty nice car, for the money id rather have something else... maybe a verion

 

The Mclaren F1 would kill the SLR, but it is harder to Drive, much more a race car, but has a 240MPH Top Speed, all this in 1992. The Benz is plush in comparison and MUCH easier to drive. The F1 seats 3 and is MUCH MUCH MUCH more expensive, it also has more WHP and is 1000 pounds lighter. F1 by a mile.

 

EvoAnthony, I was about to post a similiar reply, but decided against it.

 

i got to sit in one last year during auto show press week. The interior on those is sooo awesome and comfy.

 

I saw one of those driving through Santana Row before and it looked GOOD!

 

NO, Im not STUPID! i dont see any point in spending all that $$ on just 1 car!! i wouldnt buy 15 evo's per-say.. just that i would rather have a bunch of different cars to choose from(even if they are MUCH cheaper). or better yet.. buy a house w/ all that money. yes, if i was RICH/WEALTHY.. instead of spending $400k on a car.. i'd buy another house! so EvoAnthony... NO im not stupid.. i just like to get more for my money..

 

I would take the F1 over the SLR any day. I would also take the Carrera GT over the SLR. The performance is great with the SLR, but the looks don't do anything for me.
