Is this car reliable?
Im getting rid of my SRT-4, going to a $5000 car to catch up on my debt and then buying a car I really want *cough* EVO. I need something that will be easy to sell when I'm done with it, a car that won't give me trouble, something that is built nice and though probobly boring it doesn't look like ***. I am probobly going to pull the trigger on this 1998 Toyota Camry 4cyl Auto, sunroof, leather, 93k with new snow tires and summer tires too for $5,500. I heard that these Camrys had issues with oil gel, oilgelsettlement.com but my friend had a 2000 Camry v6 with NO problems, though his dad had the 1998 v6 with the oil problem crap. Should I worry?
My sister has 99 camry i4 with about 200k miles.. the only problem I think it had was a bad altenator at around 150k miles.. (she bought it when it had around 75k miles) I think its a good car
If you wanna make a sleeper just swap in a 3sgte but the auto tranny can't handle too much power...

my room mate has a 94 camry. 207,000 miles on it. Runs great. The only work we had to do to it was a new radiator, cos he drove into a fire hydrant.
other than that its a sweet car

Oil gel problems?? sounds like whoever told you that didn't change their oil. And my cousin has a v6 camry with 209k on the clock, nothing seriously bad, just normal wear and tear on like alternator and whatnot
