911 Turbo vs 911 GT3

Which one is faster?

911 Turbo rated at 480 hp and 460 lb-ft, 0-60 in 3.9 sec
911 GT3 rated at 415 hp and 300 lb-ft, 0-60 in 4.1 sec

The 911 Turbo advantage in power is evident in hp and torque but how come its only 0.2 quicker than the GT3 version? My reasoning behind this was the weight, so i checked that out and found out the GT3 was 419 lbs lighter.

Something that I dont get is top speed... 911 turbo is 192.6 mph and the gt3 is 193 mph why? i thought the more hp translate into higher top speed

I saw a thread in this forum related to the carrera gt but they dont have it in porshe official website

The top speed is related to the unique ability of the GT3 to rev up much higher than the GT turbo. As per the 0-60, well not only the GT3 is much lighter but it has a much lighter drivetrain as well, last but not least the power and torque delivery is very lineal and good for traction.

The GT3 engine is not a monster in torque on the botton but it pulls very weell at top so it actually helps greatly when taking off from a dig(it launches very progressively)

I actually like the GT3 more than the GTturbo. If you read the history of the GT3 you will find that it was a "street" version of the actual racing car.
