Step 1: buy a used LS1/T56

Step 2: add a cam/headers/lid for 410rwhp+

Step 3: find a RX7

Step 4: Combine the LS1 and RX7

Step 5: Have fun.

Find a 240sx for around 3 grand. Get a sr20 motor. Build it. You got yourself a 11 sec. car and a crazy drift machine!

Step 3b: find a 240sx

Hinson has developed a LS1 kit for the 240 now.

Rx7 = Looks 100x better than 240sx. (s13,14)..
S15 = pure sex . but unfortunately, not in the US.

So go with rx7 with 13b...
Why do a swap?.. 13b is a great engine, why ruin a legendary motor?
I mean ppl say it's got a lot of problems , this and that etc...
Treat it well, it'll treat you well.

as amazing as the 13b is, they blow up if not done properly (i.e. not necessarily expensive, but exactingly). but i love em anyways . cant go wrong with the ls1 in an FD for durable, cheap, undoubtedly awesome fun. personal fav swap: RB26DET into a 240 (s14) chassis. and full race has a kit to run a skyline r32 drivetrain (ATESSA AWD) under an s14. so hot. http://www.full-race.com/r14/

Find a crashed Mustang GT between 94 - 04, and get a factory 5 racing cobra kit. And do the donor Cobra project. You already have the last gen mustang experience, and most of the works are bolt-ons. You will have a nice and cool looking convertible with a more reliable technology, and it's good for at least 4 months worth of work. Go to ffcobra.com and see if it's right for you.
