Buying a 335i coupe need help!
Ok, first off this sounds extremely sketchy, but there was a listing on ebay for a few day for a 335i coupe /w red int. for 15,000.. located in the states, the ebay listing is offline now, because he thinks im a serious buyer. As some of you know a new 335i cost around 45,000 /w options... ok so this is what the guy emailed me:
Here is how the deal will be done :
1. You will give me your full name and address so i can register our transaction to eBay.
2. Once eBay will approve our transaction , your will be asked to make a deposit of half of the money to eBay`s account via bank transfer .
The money will be sent to eBay , not to me and will be secured until you receive the car.
3. I will go and start the delivery of the car and will arrive at your address in about 7 days . When you will receive the car you will have to pay the remaining balance to the shipping courier and take the car .
4. Once the car is received and everything is ok , you will also have to confirm to eBay so they can give me the deposit and the deal is complete. I will only deal this way , since the deal will be done via eBay and we will be both 100% protected . I am searching for a genuine buyer for my car and not timewasters .
I will sell the car to the first offer who agrees with my price and my selling conditions .
All my best !
Has anyone else bought a car off ebay? if so is there a chance this isnt legit?
I know everyone is saying its too good to be true, but this is why he is selling (or why he is saying he is):
Hi .
The price for my car is $ 15,000.
I have curently moved to England with my family and i will need to give a loan for a new house . I will have to sell my car , because i need the money . Anyway i can not register it here in England ,since here the cars are have right hand drive. The car is has a clear title , no accident history and it is in perfect condition.
So please every1 i need advice on this!!!
Thanks, Travis
