Vq32??

I've been looking into a G35 recently, I really, really like these cars. Much better than a 350Z. However, modding the VQ35 is expensive, and some would say not really even worth it. I was thinking of ways to get some additional revs out of it to take better advantage of a turbo setup.

I like the idea of a luxury interior with huge power. More like a GT type, highway cruiser.

Here's what I'm thinking, what about using a VQ35 block and heads, and using a VQ30 crank? This is what Top Secret did on their 350Z and they raised the rev limit to 8k. I'd like 8.5k. Maybe higher?

Anyone knowledgable about these motors who could give their opinion?

Oh, and before anyone mentions it, I had originally thought about an RB26 swap, but in doing some research I've been led to believe that the RB is too long to fit.

Comn, reading this forum I know there's people who own or have owned 350's or G35's.

Someone has got to have some input on this.

Have you looked into the 1990 - 1996 300ZX Twin Turbo at all? I owned one for 5 years and loved almost every second.

I'd wait for the G37 coupe.
