Post pics of nice(expensive) cars with poor choices.

I know I am not the only who on a daily basis sees nice, relativly expensive cars with poor modification/upgrade choices. Whether it be wheels, tint or paint schemes, post pics if you have them.

Here is a shot I took on Friday of a Lexus SC430. I am not a huge fan of the car, but if I were to have one 1) I wouldn't be putting Enkeis on it. Nothing agains the company, but you don't wear sneakers with a tuxedo. 2) Whatever wheel I did pick would tuck, and have as much lip as I could get. This is almost like a downgrade from OEM.

You be the judge and post as many as we can find. This thread could go on forever.

Yeah, you got the picture

Evotec - I think that Ferrari is in a race, but lets say it had some spinners on it. It would fit in this thread.

loooool i remember that guy when i had my audi,

be4 the s4 he had a a4, with s4 body kit, badges rims...everything and he went aroud telling people he had a s4... hes like 35-40 years old.....

i was at the dealer one time when he was there and the tech guy said " your rich, if you wanted a s4 why didnt you buy one instead of being a poser" that guy is a the low of the low lol.... he's like the dork that evvvvvvvveryone picks on in school, work where ever lol

he put air bag suspension on his audi a4 cause he thought being low would help his center of gravity. but he didnt want to worry about daily driving and speed bumps so he can lift it whnever lol

audi tony from boca raton, fl lol

havent been on there in almost a year... miss that forum...

Its funny how everyone has an opinion. Because they own a Lexus SC430, that means they have to drop serious cash on rims?

My dad owns a G35 coupe, and every winter he switches to winter tires. Those tires were mounted on a cheap set of Konig rims. He didnt look for a giant lip or anything else, they are winter rims.

Giant lips and tucking? Those sound like bad mods to ME.

Here is my old G35

It isn't very hard to switch back to factory wheels which I could've put winter tires on. For the price of the Konigs he could've gotten another set of stockers. Konigs on a G35 coupe sound bad too me.

I'm not a big fan of Maya rims at all, I would rather have a set of Volks, BBS or HREs. I don't like those wheels on the G35 either since 20" is overkill for the G35 in my opinion. With that being said, I do agree that the Enkeis look strange on the SC.

I believe you don't know style. There are many great wheel brands out there besides the three you listed. You say you don't like Maya, but do you even know who makes Maya wheels?

Seeing as how the G now comes with 19s from the factory, 20s are definitly overkill. I prolly should've taken off my Brembos for stock calipers and gotten some 17" E88

I doubt that was under their list of available options for that model.

Keep 'em coming
