my mom either wants to buy me a scion tc or honda accord as my first car

im getting my licence in 2 months and i was either thinking of a brand new 07 black scion tc stick, or a 03-05 Honda Accord coupe v6 6speed. they're around the same price of 16-17k


what would YOU choose and why

 

Scion, just cause I like the looks and it's brand new.

they look cooler. plus the accord is to closely related to the civic in rice terms

scion...looks better and I've been researching the turbo kits available for that car...it's looking good...

 

accord is better, why don't you buy a used EVO it just $2000-3000 more?

Yeah, actually, while I normally find it funny when people suggest things that weren't even an option to choose from, a used WRX would be one to consider.

 

I agree with teh WRX but if you must choose between those I'd get the Scion, the girlies like them

 

I owned a tC as my 'first' car (that I paid for). It was great car. Rode nice, was fairly peppy in stock form, has good mileage.

Of course I modded it. Springs, full exhaust, supercharger, CF hood, silver aluminum grille, custom tail light tints, etc. It was sexy, quick, and a blast on the streets.





For a very first car, you can't beat it. Even though the Evo is better in pretty much every category, I still miss that car. I kinda wish I hadn't traded it for the Evo and kept it as a daily.
