Dadriva is correct about the R33's.

They can be MADE legal, but the specifics of it I'm not aware of.

I thought that MotorEx shut down because Nissan put a stop into importing GTR into the US because they're debuting the R35 and don't want the car to have a bad rep with the old GTR. But I guess it's all just about Government greed and some shady business doing.
I love that people blame the government and Nissan when a businessman of ill repute gets caught sidestepping the law. ****ers keep making it illegal to bypass the laws put in place to regulate the safety of our automobiles. How dare they?
Sure, don't we all. Here's the vehicle import eligibility list straight from the NHTSA. If it is not on here, forget it. No matter if it has a tag, title, vin etc... it is not federally legal, it may be state "legal" but not federally. If that ever catches up to you and your illegal import, you will lose it.
Like already mentioned, the few R32's and R34's imported by Motorex are the only Federally legal Skylines in the US.
Also, imagine you were in an accident with injuries / fatalities in your illegally imported car and your insurance company found out that you douped them too.

It's so good to live by the coast. If this site is legit, I might be driving a Skyline sooner then I thought possible.
Edit: I don't trust sites that can't spell, can't use punctuation, and use Gmail.

Being unique has its downsides, specifically getting stalked. Having to deal with crowds of people around you car everytime you park it, people following you and being dangerously close and trying to take pictures while driving, and people showing up at your house because they find out where you live or follow you home. Some of this sounds cool, but gets old realy quick. It probably a little better now, but was one of the factors to why I sold mine.
Yeah I called this place last week, seemed very shady. Reading through the thread seems like it is nearly impossible for this website to be legit. The guy I talked to on the phone said it would cost $10,000 to import and modify it to make it legal in the USA. My foolish *** was thinking the cars were already here in the states at the dealership, didn't know they were still in Japan.
