*Edit* Yeah I called this place last week, seemed very shady. Reading through the thread seems like it is nearly impossible for this website to be legit. The guy I talked to on the phone said it would cost $10,000 to import and modify it to make it legal in the USA. Found this interesting car dealership in the Los Angeles area that modifies and sells imported Skyline GTRs (and other JDM vehicles) for a pretty good price. Honestly I love my EVO IX to death, but if I would have found out about this dealership when I was looking for a new car, I'd probably be driving a R32 or R33 Skyline GTR right now, as long as I could fit it under my budget (which I would of made a little higher for a GTR). To late now, I love my EVO and wouldn't even consider going through the hassle of getting another car right now. I realize there are other companies or dealerships that sale imported GTRs, but I never knew you could get a GTR at these prices. I wonder if the cars are already modified to be street legal for the states or do they have to be modified by them and that is added to the price? What is insurance like for a GTR in the states, probably pretty expensive? Also I wonder if these companies offer any kind of warranty, because yeah I could only imagine getting parts for these cars would be mighty difficult. That black one for $21,500 really looks interesting though, might pay them a visit sometime in the near future.

 

That 1995 is a good deal, with the miles and price. I wish I never saw this, numbers start rolling around in my head.

I am the friend he is talking about and motorex was the only company to ever actually do it the right way. I wouldnt trust any of these other companies. It all seems bit sketchy

 

Damn, I remember back when Motorex was charging 40-60k for R33's.

 

And why isn't motorex selling skylines now? Importing any skyline from anywhere is sketchy but we don't buy imported skylines because we want reliable dd's....
