SAAB suspension and Lancer...

A buddy of mine said springs/shocks are better than coilovers...

I know the shocks are not available for the 2003 lancers, but I'm starting to wonder are shocks/springs really better than coilovers for other cars? I read from so many posts that many track drivers use coilovers, so they can't be that bad...

uh.... a coilover is an adjustable spring... a springs/shocks(struts) if sold togeather are usally a full coilover system, dampering system w/e..... but he doesnt know what hes talking about... coilovers use stock struts, full styles come with new struts... im not sure if this helps but, kick him in the ****s and call hima slaab.
