I work on BMW's and we have not seen a 335IX yet. I have seen a few 535IX's and have driven them. They were all automatic. I brake torqued one and the launch didnt impress me at all

Ran one tonight in Cinco Ranch (West Houston) and he was tough to shake but I walked him still. I am impressed. Shiv sells a 60hp/80ftlbs Tq for $1,400. So at 1,400 RPM they are laying down some smoke w 380ft lbs. Open rear diff though I read??

FYI, the XI is the awd 335, so I doubt it has an open rear diff like the rwd, but I don't know for sure.

Anyone know when the 335 XI is coming out in a wagon?

Remind me never to buy a car from your dealership.

Wasn't an x but I saw a 335 at autox and wasn't that impressed. Not sure how much they weigh, but it looked really heavy going around the tight turns.

you have to drive one! a vishnu one that is..,

dont know what his times were like but my buddy at work just got his tined by shiv and it is soooo smooth 380ftlbs with just a procede THATS it!

my service manager just got back from vegas this week and BMW has a whole line of "tuner" parts layed out for this car. alot of cool stuff!

BMW of germany has found out about the procede and took it very personally, so they have all the parts done there way and informed all techs if they find a procede to inform and void warranty, sure no problem i dont work for mitsu

very cool stuff is on its way for the 335, may make me switch to somthing more mature, more power and a $350 employee lease

It was actually tested in many other cars and the numbers are much higher than that. Particularily it improved 75whp/114lb/tq to the wheels , Here is the link:

NOTE: The first link is the road test bone stock, the second test is with just a piggy back, the gains are 75whp/114lbtq to the wheels

By the way, I do have the same piggy back on hand despite my car is not due for another 6-8 weeks.

They weight 3571lbs for the coupe and 3600lbs the sedan. They are actually very decent handling specially the coupe. I already posted some links from Nurburgring and Hockenheim laps and they kick some a$$. The braking is also outstanding, not far at all from the Evo despite its single big piston calibers but 13.4" rotors.

It all depends on who is driving.

Yes, it is an AWD version. It comes with a elctronic type engagement, it would partially connect on demand, kind opf what Porsche first started using on the Porsched 911(964) in the eraly 90(particularily in autum of 89)

carlos, you have to see some of the stuff that BMW is coming out with, you may want to ditch your procede!

Any ideas on the weight of the BMW 335XI, just wondering if the added weight is worth it. The RWD models actually when driven correctly launch pretty well. A lot of them have ben able to do 60 foot times under 2.0, which is pretty good in my opinion for a non-AWD vehicle on street tires.

Edit saw the weight was already mentioned.
