thanks! swifts never came turboed, the turbo is off of a Audi A4. not sure on hp somewhere around 120-130ish, maybe i need to dyno it to find out exactly how much. they come with 100 hp stock. It may not seem like much but keep in mind they weigh only 1900lbs.

It is a Geo Metro; or rather, a Geo Metro was a rebadged Suzuki Swift. Geo's entire lineup was rebadged cars - Tracker = Suzuki Sidekick, Prism = Toyota Corolla, Storm = Isuzu Impulse.

The Swift only weighs about 1800 pounds, so it's not hard to make fairly quick. I recall a few tuner variants of them in the late 90s.

LOL. that thing looks awesome. Great Daily driver. That little turbo reminds me of a turbo I have sitting in my garage for a few years.

the only things that are kinda the same between the metro and the swift are the bodies. the metro has a 70hp 3 cylinder motor, while the swift has a 100hp 16v DOHC 4 cylinder motor which loves to be revved to the stock redline of 7500 rpm, disc brakes all around, the stock front seats look almost like recaro seats.

Now if only i lived in Japan i could buy the Suzuki Cultus Swift gti which has a higher compression engine i think around 120hp, bigger tb, but heres the kicker the cultus comes AWD imagine having a car like my swift thats AWD, turboed but running like 200-300hp and weighs only 1900lbs.
