My latest
I work in Ashburn but live in West VA. I had cops on rt 7 running radar the other way pull out and tail me for a few miles for no reason (could have been the exhaust cause VA has some size limit???). I got pulled once cause the guy said he saw my radar detector (it was off and I wasnt speeding) it was over the mirror and he was again facing the opposite direction. Just a nother NOVA BS ticket. One of the reasons I sold the car.
Everything the 3.2 has, you can get in the 2.0T version, except AWD. That's the only real difference. The 3.2 includes some of the 2.0T options as standard.
Here my latest add-on (I still have the RS4 and the A3 is now the wife's car):

Sorry I keep popping in at weird times, but other threads bring me in, and I feel compelled to keep it up to date! I really want to buy an Evo X, but I am waiting to see about an Evo X RS or maybe a GT-R V-spec...

Unless you do a full turbokit like from ATP or a full S/C from VFengineering the 3.2l gains almost nothing on bolt ons. Not only is expensive to mod but also the aftermarket parts don't add much HP.
On a total diffferent note, the 2.0 FSI is the icon as far is engines on the Audi/VW. This engine takes any shape, color and size of mod you can throw at it. If you haven't guessed already here I am to tell you: the 2.0 l turbo makes a whole lot more power with basic bolt ons.
Go to youtube and look on the Golf R32 vs Golf GTI with a TB and a flash and see who wins. The 3.2l has one of the most bad aS$ engine notes but the 2.0 turbo is the way to go for practicality.

Chris,
Congrats!! you have very good taste on cars, nice import quality. As far is youir daily beater, I drive a car that shares 99% of the genetic blood(Mark V GLI 2.0 turbo with DSG).
We don't regret having this car, the gas mileage is simply astonishing. I just did a full Turboback , CAI and reflash and I swear up and down that the car picked up at least 5 mph traps and close to one second quicker in the 1/4 mile.
For an affordable list of mods on your Audi I recommend:
ATP full 3" cat less DP (astonishing spool up)
Eurojet catback (cheap and makes a lot of power,do not go 3" pipes on stock turbo, you might lose torque and hp)
Neuspeed CAI
I also have the GIAC reflash with the map hand held module.
Let me know whenever you want to mod the Audi, I know the cheapest prices around. Sick as$ cars by the way

No kidding man... That was a horrible day. I can honestly say I would have NEVER sold my Evo. Things happen for a reason and I definitely can't complain about my current rides. Thanks for all the compliments.
I am DYING to get back to SoCal - if that happens, I'll be trading the Cayman in for an Aston V8 Vantage.
