Well, just by reading this and trying to picture it, It's obvious that the STI was not stock. Maybe the EVo was, since all the attention was set towards the STI...

Maybe this guy doesn't have the power to admire the true beauty of an Evolution. Imagine what his car looks like (M5) or his wife to top it off. lol

An M5 will eat a STOCK> Evo or Sti. Especially on the high end.

P.S.

This is something I took off that forum from someone of the name M3Lowrider or something..
giving the M5 owner some advice...

I'd be amazed if I have an M5 and get beaten by a rice kid, but loosing to an STI or keeping up must be something to be proud of. It doesnt matter what car you have.

so what happened to the Evo? He only talks about the STI keeping up. We all know any Evo with average bolt-ons is a high 11/low 12 sec car

I wish I had Z06 top end, Im happy with my car, I dont care going over 140 mph.
I bought mine for $32,000 new and keep up with exotics, have a nice paint job, nice interiors, etc...... what else can I ask for?

my friend also has a current model m5..as well as an evo...and this guy was worried about the subaru..lol....m5s stock do 12.7 @116-117....DRs are a diff story...

my theory, which i'll admit, sounds ridiculous to most: The more your car costs, the less you have to prove yourself. So for those that pay less yet who can match up in speed.. well you have a lot to prove with little else to show. There are reasons behind the price tag, i dont know who made this all about speed.
