did i mention an evo????? our cars interior are crap, and the ride is only slightly better than an ambulance in roughness.......I just think out of all the cars on earth theres one better than a scooby

Interesting read. I'll agree that the Outback is one of the more "complete" cars on the road. But, just like Clarkson, I wouldn't have one.

I rented a Legacy Outback wagon last weekend in Denver, and my dad owns an Outback Limited sedan. Great cars, except for the front seats: they need to go back another inch and there's no thigh support. I don't see how a guy Clarkson's size can be comfortable in one.

Volkswagen Phaeton V8.....used ones are fairly affordable, there reliable as heck, fairly powerful, and OVER-luxurious

Trust me dude they're rock solid.....if you are saying the phaeton is not reliable, you are saying the audi A8 and Bently Continental are not reliable.....they are all HAND-BUILT in the same factory.....do your research!!!

I'll chime in and say most VW group products are not reliable. a good friend of mine who works at a mitsu/VW delaer says there are VW's including the phaeton in for warranty work constnatly.

lets go new...sub 40k? lol i always love how people will say well i get get it used for this price,...are they even making the phaeton anymore? i dont see it on their site ... if not, then im sure it didnt sell because it was so perfect right?

sells in europe......and thats where clarkson's from....and no they do not import it in america anymore......speaking of new cars, I really can't think of one .......but I still don't agree w/ clarkson
