There is none..because stock for stock the skyline wins..LOL...At least compare a car within 10grand of the base price

 

The GT-R will more than likely be around 70k and with dealer markups expected to be at least 10-20k over MSRP they will be hard to get. Only 1800 of them coming to the USA the first year.

Also they have been using a Porsche 977TT as a test mule for the GT-R. That is the target performance level they seem to be shooting for that has been stated by spy photos, vids and media info.

To compare an Evo to a GT-R is dumb. Apples to oranges. Rally car to GT.

Evo is a great car as are the other cars mentioned in this thread and we have no GT-R to compare them to yet ....so just have to be and wait.

Out of the box the cars weight will be more than a Z06 or 08 Viper and will have less power...in stock form.

The real beauty of this car will be the ability to hold more boost and Hp...on the stock block....it will be a great car to modify for track/street for sure.

I have had a deposit on one for at least 6 months and It will be a project car I will work closely on with a well known performance Shop. I can't wait my dealer said he has word that they should be in the dealers about March - May 08. Can't wait

BTW is not a V8 but a TTV6....if everything we know so far is true.

Because many evo owners believe they are the best cars hands down and refuse to believe otherwise.

But until official test results come out, track videos, etc. I will say evos ftw. lol

 

The first example dont really matter. Take the example of an M3 (not the one that is about to be released) evo wins hands down in that comparison with performance.

 

would I sell my Evo to get a GTR ?? NO

Would I buy GTR as a 2nd car ??? YES
