The new WRX is really toned down, even "Car and Driver" didn't like it that much. Something to consider though, it doesn't feel fast because it's AWD.

The only two cars I test drove were the speed 3 and the Evo... it wasn't all that of an easy choice but the Evo handled much better because of AWD. Plus the tool at the Mazda dealership treated me like crap. Evo just had more of what I was looking for, and for a couple grand more it seemed worth it at the time.

yea, the Speed3 is a great buy for the money. With 280lbs tq stock it has some fine pull that the GTI,Si,R32,WRX all do not match, although all of those are nice cars and fast, some with a more refined interior but none with the fun drive factor of the Speed. No, its not the best car out there because i have it, its just a whole lot of fun for the price. I was turned off at the first dealer i went to to test drive the EvoMr(only model i was interested in)the had the TurboTrix mods on there with a dealer markup plus $25000 over list bringing the car well over 40,000. The next dealer had the Mr stock at about 36500, which still would of increased my payments an additional 250+ per month too much for me. I actually had a deposit on a BMW M3 2004 with competition Pkg that i backed out of for i had anxiety over payments. In regarded to the motor mount issue, yea plenty of us with happy right foots that push the Speed to its limits had some mounts break, so there was a recall and all is well. Also some of the members are putting aftermaket mounts on to strengthen it even more. As you guys no, with first run cars there are always some issues so im sure it will not be the last. Just so you guys no, i did not come on this forum to hijack it or boast about my Speed, i was reserching Vishnu EMS products and the link took me here, so i joined in, its an honor to be here, i love your cars Evos rock!!!

I visited a local Subaru dealership yesterday after work to check out the Legacy GT and while there took a look at the new WRX. I actually like the looks of the exterior but the interior is a little funky looking in my opinion. To bad they couldn't come up with an interior like the Tribeca's in the WRX. I kinda like those things
