Good info but I must critique that the info is a few months old and has been available through various sources. Thanks for posting it though!

Looks like I'll have to scratch the 35r off my list and go for the 42r to get the job done on these beasts...

Im sure it will be crazy fast, but I dont understand one thing. If they are trying to make the ultimate corvette, why the engine choice they are going with? I dont get why they would go from the LS7 making over 500 hp, down to an LS3 with a supercharger. Sure it bumps the LS3 from like 430 to 650, but why not put that on the one already making over 500? The aftermarket for parts on these is insane with the power they are getting from simple mods so its not like the LS7 is garbage and sure it may have cost more to do but look at the price this new one is going to be at, the majority of ppl who can afford it could probably shell out alittle more for what I think would have been a lot better car.

Most likely so they can phase in another, higher powered car above the 650 HP SC LS3 model.

The only benefit of a "blue devil" from GM vs an aftermarket model from Lingenfelter, etc is the warranty and dealer support.

I'm sure it will dominate on a road course. It's a vette.
