WOW!! I have never seeen a more inappropiate car commercial. This shows me how desperate SUBARU is to make a decent marketing on their new Subaru Hatchback.

I think that perhaps is the other way around, VW is the one that started the hatchbacks with their GTI back in 1977. They also made AWD cars on their VW golf Shyncro, additionally they made not just supercharger Golf GTI(G60) but also turbo chargers( all the GTI turbos from 1998 and)

Then they had the R32 AWD, even with the cooperation of Audi they already had the Audi S3 turbo AWD, ot Audo quattro coupoe turbos AWD, otr Audi RS2 (awd turbo)

Why to keep justifying it, there is no point. Subaru made a desastrous, pathetic, false, innacurate, and poor hatch back WRX advertizing, perhaps the Japanese Subaru manufacturer is the one that need to learn from the German veteran car manufacturer.

first off calling that commercial pathetic is pathetic. they are in the business to sell cars. second the r32 was a flop, same cost as the sti-evo , but not in the same league, they brought a knife to a gunfight. third fuuuckk vw, them along with audi should be banned from al americans, dont misqoute me hear because i drive a mitsu, but those two scumbag companies never put one plant here in this country yet keep selling their crap, then they have the ***** to annouce the opening of a plant in russia how long will we let them **** on us.

 

WTF is up with number three......Hold on....I think that should do......I personally like VW i see nothing wrong with them....H*** I drive one.........I think Subaru is a disgrace of a car company that keeps producing crap year after year........The WRX (pronounced wrecks) is a joke, their SUV certainly is a joke, and the STI is the biggest joke of all......tho ONLY thing they have had going for them is AWD, but everoyne makes AWD cars nowadays.....let me put it to you this way......subaru is like the red headed stepchild that wants to get noticed, and almost does sometimes, but end the end gets rejected, and has to live in the basement............

Very unfortunate videos from Subaru IMHO.

They won't dare to play them in Germany, that's for sure, and I'm not talking about the Daewoo-like design but the vehicle dynamics and the stellar build quality Germans are used to. (You can clearly see on the first vid lots of body roll)

My fellow Germans will be definitely making fun from these two commercials

 

Subaru is way better than VW. VW may have started the hatchback thing forever ago but it was always ugly and slow in my opinion. I like the new subaru hatch and hope it does very well.

 

evoster, are u kidding, u show how young and dumb u are. saying the sti is crapp. only 18 year olds play that my evo is better then your sti crap. as u further keep spewing shiiitttt from your mouth about subaru, the company is in far better financial shape then mitsu,(actually mitsu is so far in debt ) AND even builds a higher quality car. i love my evo, but grow up little boy!!!!

 

Fuuccckkk Germany, for all the cars they sell here they barely have any plants. as i have ranted earlier about VW and Audi, bmw and mercedes isnt that much better. germany is turning into a financial powerhouse while usa keeps dropping. they keep high paying jobs in country. toyota is as american car as u get they employ over 100,000 people here. **** the ford mustang is made in canada.

 

Well, they had to pick on someone they could beat since Mazda handed them their asses with the Mazda speed and I'm betting the SRT Caliber will probably own the WRX too. \

I own a Subaru, and it's a pretty decent car, although I'm dissapointed in all of the rattles. At first it felt very solid but at 9K miles.. its a rattletrap. In hindsight I wish I would have gotten a second Evo IX but Rachel actually prefers the Suby so maybe it's a good choice. Family rivalry and all.
