I suggest getting a 2000-2001 Honda S2000, Eclipse GSX(97-99), or a VR4

Im leaning more towards the WRX now that I have found they arent really that bad as far as drivetrain strength.

The problem with 99% of these suggestions is that he lives in Maine. Like me!! It snows.. And it snows good!! (foot or two is a "dusting" ) All these rare and rwd cars will be useless. The rs and wrx are going to be your best bang for the buck.

s2000 , put the top down, cruise, put basic bolt on's with honda data youll run 13's easliy

wrx few mods get into the 12's, cheap, awd

both those cars are the only ones that really fit ur standards.
its obvious u dont wanna r un around in sum POS or unrealible swapped car.
and u need sumthing financed if u really want the best bang for the buck

ls1 camaro u can finance with, put a cam , exhaust and a tune, run 11's, nice interior , v8 sound, reliable, but will eat gas

i think the 2.5RS is the nicest suggestion so far.. Reliable, can be a 14 second car with $500 in mods Looks extremely sharp with body modifications and its AWD!!!!

You also have the option of 2 door or 4 door, big spoiler or little spoiler!

Buy my 1996 Camaro Z28 65k miles mods are cam, nitrous, full bolt ons. SUPER SUPER CLEAN CAR! I am asking 8k for it. For 10500 I would include my 1996 Jeep GCL so you can have a somethign to drive when it is wet and or nasty out.

This Z has went 11.01 on the spray and no doubt after some tuning I did it will run 10's on the 150 shot. As well I have the jets for 175 shot never used them. So 10 second all day here.

I am selling my vehicles to buy an Evo as my DD. I sure do not want to sell my Camaro it is SOOOOOO clean, great looking and makes really good power.

Honestly, if you don't want to mess around moddding and what a turbo car involves then I would say get a decent NA car: Cobra, Camaro,Trans am Formula,C4 vette, Honda S2000.

Lets be honest and be truthfull, you are not solvent at this time( I am not critizising you) to mess around with moddding a car. Your criteria makes the search of cars very narrow.

You rejected cars like the GSX because you can't afford to put another $1000-$2000 to make then fast. I got that, you need to finance everything at once. Base on your demand, I suggest you get cars like the one that I mnetioned above to get you into your goal (a 14 sec car without mods).

I wouldn't recommend the WRX, you will want to spend $199 for the uppipe, then you will see a Helix DP for $179 then a MBC for $50 and you will ended up modding the car again.
