Saab Turbo X
Saab Turbo X
And so it begins, here she is the Saab Turbo X. All dressed in black. I think it looks ok, certainly looks aggressive. But must admit not feeling the rear. Should be a nice performance vehicle with a 2.8L Turbocharged 280 horsepower (likely underated) and 295 pound/ft of torque. Also comes with "XWD all-wheel drive system with an eLSD that can divvy up power between the front and rear wheels, as well as splitting it between the two rear wheels, as well" (autoblog.com).

My honest opinion = a little disappointed
Yes it does look like a good daily driver, but then again there will be a lot of good daily drivers around that probably match this cars price tag such as a BMW 135i, Infiniti G37, and Lexus IS350.
Exterior Styling- Overall ok looking. Does look better than most Saabs, but then again that isn't saying too much. I do like the aggressive look, but the styling to me seems a bit out dated. I think if this car was introduced late 90s/early 2000s it would have been the sh*t, but the competition is fierce and only going to get more competitive. The rear is just plain awful in my opinion, reminds me of the mid 90s Lexus GS300/GS400.
Interior Styling- Not bad, the seats from the photos don't look very supportive or sporty. The dash isn't so bad, but I've seen better from Audi, Mercedes, and even BMW. Overall I can't say the interior looks bad, but it certainly doesn't look sporty and doesn't stand out in any way.
Power- Is good with 280hp, but hate to say it, but I was hoping for a little more. I mean the 135i will put out 300hp (in reality 315-320hp), the G37 Coupe puts out 330hp, and the IS350 306hp. Sh*t even the EVO X and new STI are suppose to be rated at 300hp+. I just think 280hp is just adequate for a possible $30,000 to $35,000 price tag and for this car's class.
Well atleast it is AWD, but so is the 335XI and also the 2008 VW R32, 2008 EVO X, and the 2008 Hatchcrap STI. Rumors is that the G37 Coupe is also going to have an AWD variant (as if the G37 didn't already weigh enough at 3700Lbs
). Seriously I like the Saab Turbo X should be a very safe vehicle to own, but nothing special in my opinion and I think special is what Saab needed to put out.

Well word is, that this car is just a limited edition model, made to introduce their new XWD all wheel drive system. Good thing, because limited is probably the best way to describe how many actual people will be seriously interested in buying this car.
