what do the new 335's boost at

my buddy just ordered a new one and hes trying to tell me it will be close to 20. Any 335 owners know the exact number?

it's less, but who cares. it not like you can compare the boost numbers from one turbo setup to another and have it mean anything at all.

8.5psi with a overboost on demand (altitude or load) of plus .2 bars so roughly it can boost at around 11psi when needed.

By the way, tell your friend he is full of chit.

Around 6.5 or so through the low and mid range, rising to about 8 up higher in the rpm band.

Some dynos have shown as much as a brief 15psi spike on v1.45-1.47 but like Dave2 said, it is generally around 14 psi.

Having had a few turbo cars with small turbos comparable to the one on the 335i it is my personal opinion to say that the eficiency rate/boost of the 335i turbos are at around 15psi. I truly don't expect significant gains beyond the 15psi mark.
